Shoe names are so complicated and it is so hard to track down shoes you like when you barely know how to describe them CORRECTLY in a search bar.
Is there a wiki-style post with a collection of all the MAIN styles of shoes since the 19th century? "Show us your shoes" is a mess to be honest.
I'm willing to collect the styles people shoecase on this post and organise them in a new thread to be sticky linked hopefully. TFL really needs to be a place with a WIKI too like Straight Razor Place.
So here is a place to post the shoes you like (images from movies welcome) and people can help you track them down. I'm sure many people will appreciate a topic with a collection of classic boots they love from old films but never knew what EXACTLY they were called.
I'll start it off. Name these shoes, EXACTLY (not just COWBOY BOOTS etc

#1b These lack the top style of all other cowboy boots, what are they?
#1c Guess the movie and the shoe style?
