Catch & Release on a nice, 70's or so Cal Leather cross-zip jacket. Inside the pocket is a handwritten "42L" so that likely is the original size tag. No Cal-Leather labels or tags, however the nice black fur inside both sleeve ends, the Talon brass main zipper and brass teardrop pocket zippers, and the general quality and sturdy construction suggest this is indeed a Cal-Leather. Condition: The jacket appears to have been worn very little, and it does not seem to be broken in yet. Quite a bit of grain is appearing in the (likely Steerhide) leather. Lining of the jacket and the pocket linings (white sailcloth) are all clean, rip and stain free. There are a few very small areas of "paint" contact on 2 of the black snaps for a belt, one small smudge on the LH side of the main zipper, and one tiny spot on the RH sleeve, all are in photos. Also, the jacket has a slightly musty odor from storage. I am letting it air outside, to see if that begins to go away. Otherwise, the jacket is clean, ready to wear.
