Buying a University Ring

I am looking into acquiring a university ring, I initially considered Jostens as they seem to be the official providers but am finding their customer service to be so atrocious that I have decided to look elsewhere.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Are there any topnotch custom jewelers out there?

I have one ring from Herff-Jones (HS - 35+ years ago), one from Jostens (college - 25+ years ago), and my law school ring is Art Carved (20+ years ago). while I cannot speak to current quality, I am happy with all of three of them and can't really recommend one above the others.
