Hello, this is my first post in the jacket forum. I'm a n00b about jackets, but I know what I like. I came across this photo recently and just loved the jacket this railroad worker is wearing. Wanted to know if there is anyone making this exact style.

When I saw this it reminded me of what Marlon Brando was wearing in On the Waterfront. The Buffalo checked work jacket, http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=3208 except this one has no knits at the waist or sleeves. Which works for me as I'm a bit portly and waisted jackets look bad on me. I also like the slash pockets on this much better than the flaps.

I think this jacket is so cool. I like it so much I'm sure I'd pay more than I should for it ;-)

cheers!

I picked up one just like this on Ebay. Green/black buffalo plaid. Funny thing I bought it out of Philly, it is a vintage Pioneer Brand made in Canada in pristine condition....The jacket is more well travelled than I am! What size are you?

Great to see this Wool jackets! I owned this one from Labor Union. I bought it and sold it here. It was marked as a XL, but had a chest of 21 inches! I owned a similar Real McCoys which did not fit. The Labor Union was nice, but not the quality of the McCoy. Still it was nice.

I have not been to their website and was floored to see the jackets posted above.

I had no idea about the Runabout! That posted jacket is sold out in my size, Large. I will keep my eye on these websites. Thanks to folks who posted those sites.

Fashion always comes back around is no joke. Yet, I'm still surprised by this comeback of buffalo plaid. I love it. Always have. I don't know what it is about the pattern that I thought it would be immune to this adage. Love to see all these photos. Thanks for sharing, everyone.

I've got one I will do a thread on today.
