I've seen these on eBay for $90.00 USD shipped. :) I was wondering if they were any good, and from what I see here, they're not bad. ;)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/122034344171?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&var=421047119580&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Hmmmm.... Makes me wonder if these (from the same source) are decent too:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/A2-BROWN-MILITARY-INDIAN-LEATHER-JACKET-2/122034342244?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=37472&meid=ad1d1c79cf9445d1995988a528719074&pid=100005&rk=2&rkt=6&sd=122034344171

EDIT: Looking at their sizing chart for the A-1, I would need an 2XL (which they don't appear to carry) for a size 44, but the sleeve measurement would be an inch too long for me at 27".... Worth keeping an eye on however to see if they offer larger sizes in the future. At the price offered, it would be worth having the sleeves shortened IMO. ;)
Beware. That seller has "borrowed" photos from a lot of different brands including Thedi. I doubt he is selling that genuine Thedi for USD90.

Just got my Bronson A1 in (5 days delivery time!) and must say, for the money payed I'm not disappointed!!
Ordered the "L"size, and it's a nice snug fit for a size 40 like me !
Only difference with Blackadder's A1, as you can see in the picture, is the use
of Snaps instead of Buttons on the waistband,
but that doesn't bother me to much, and might be more durable in the long run.
Anyway, if you're on a tight budget like me, this is a very nice alternative.

Nice. Snap button is what most repro makers use.

Thanks for the heads-up.. The eBay listing pic shows the A-1 is made by Bronson, and the pic looks a lot like the Bronson A-1 that you posted pics of. That's why I thought it was the same one. I guess it's an Indian jacket 'borrowing' pics from Bronson.. The lack of their own pics is a big red flag to stay away for sure. ;)

EDIT: I just messaged the seller asking for actual pics of their A-1. ;) IF they reply with pics of their jacket, I will post them.

I know I have seen that A-2 photo in your second link too. Just can't remember exactly where. I think it was a photo from an earlier ebay listing.
Edit
Found it

I'd be really surprised if you heard anything. There seems to be an endless number of pages of jackets, all in different colors and styles, and with remarkably little information about any of them. Aren't there rules on ebay about stealing other companies' photos? I seem to remember problems with this in the past.

He also "borrowed" some pics from another ebay seller's current listing (a RRLxBuzz Rickson's A-2 that has been listed on ebay for over 2 years). I doubt ebay would allow it if they are notified.

It is a shame that you are dealing with a thief.
You talk instead to report the theft of our pictures.
I thought that there is a dignity and a respect in this forum, as regards the product that we manufacture so painstakingly.
90 euros is the cost of Universal zippers that I use for a jacket.
Greetings from Greece.

^Man's right. If you want an excellent A-1 at a very reasonable price, you couldn't do better than Hawkwind Mfg. (see Merchants' section). It's a fairly new company, and they're obviously in love with what they're doing.

Seem like a misunderstanding here. If I had dealt with the seller and has evidence to prove so, I would have reported the case to ebay. Please look at the word "borrow" I used cos I don't have one shed of evidence to prove otherwise and I have no idea who the actual owner of the photo is and who the seller is. BTW, I don't even know who you are but thanks for the advice.

This is an old thread revived becos another lounger bought the same Bronson jacket as I did over a year ago on Taobao (not from any ebay seller and I doubt the jacket is even available on ebay) and wanted to show it here. Another lounger hence found a ebay seller who purported to deal in the same Bronson jacket but the price on ebay raises some red flags not to mention the various pictures used.

He is the guy who own Thedi Leathers. And you are right, I think he has misunderstood you.

Yes, I too think that Theodoros is misunderstanding what is being discussed here. No one is criticizing or putting down Thedi leathers as far as I can tell. Just the opposite. In fact Thedi is well thought of and complimented quite often on this forum.

Just received my A1 from the aliexpress seller AL jeans, this is the dark brown model.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2016..._1&btsid=df724b16-b1b4-49ec-be4f-a97e7c0fe92c

The seller replied promptly to my email and the sizing chart was accurate for the jacket I got, perhaps others who bought the jacket can say what theirs was like.
The jacket stiching is fine and nothing on the jacket is mismatched or unbalanced.
I have never owned an A1 so I cannot comment on accuracy of it's details.
The jacket cost me $266 Australian dollars with free DHL delivery, that would be a lot less in US$

i have taken some photos, i have just taken the jacket out of packaging so it is creased.
I have had a kelso and an eastman A2 and whilst you cannot compare it their for quality and accuracy and it would not be fair do so, at it's price range for the money it is great value.
I know top maker jackets are better A1's but they also cost way more and not everyone has the funds to buy one or might like a different style of flight jacket for their collection but cannot afford a top end one every time, remember this thread is for a BUDGET A1. not how good other jackets are that some people can never afford to buy.

UPDATE
The jackets come inside the parcel in a bronson plastic bag, there is one spare large and one spare collar button, they are loose and not easy to see, I only noticed them when I was throwing out the bag.
