I know what you mean and yeah, that's normal. Depends what kind of pants you wear but I really wouldn't worry about it. The zipper on this style is supposed to end just above the beltline. It's an MC jacket after all.

thanks, Monitor, that's what I was hoping to hear. It really is perfect when sitting down and fits like a second skin, way better fit than the Schott 530 I just got a couple weeks back. Wish I'd found this forum sooner, I would have saved a lot of money, but probably just spent more.....hahaha

Yep, part of the pattern. Many jackets do this so you have better movement down there. I think it looks great on a cafe racer.

yeah, I understand the reason for the shortened zip and it's one of the reasons I was drawn to the brooks style. I'm looking to get a 2-way zip installed on my 530, for the same effect. It's just the way it looks that's gonna take some getting used to I guess. I appreciate the feedback guys! I'll still try and get a pic up this evening!

I agree but my zipper is about an inch higher than that. Maybe I just need some jeans with a higher rise or it may not even be noticeable with my shirt untucked.

thanks guys, makes me feel a lot better about it. It's with out a doubt the best fitting leather jacket I've ever owned. I'm not a slim guy so I was worried the 46 wouldn't work after reading some other posts about sizing up. A 48 would probably give me some more room for layering but the 46 is fine with a tshirt and oxford underneath, plus I live in Mississippi, so no real need for heavy layers.

Lovely jackets,

My favourite and currently only Moto jacket, just love the simplicity of the design :)

I apologize for the poor photo but it's the best I have for now. It'll fit even better when I drop the winter weight. Opinions are welcome!
