I bought this about a month ago and promised I'd post pictures. The BB critics especially wanted to see this. The 1818 line was inspired by some of their earlier lines, but is far from reproduction vintage. I'm very happy with the suit. While the armholes aren't true vintage, they seem much higher than most modern suits.

I love the lapels on the vest, but the vest itself could certainly be a little longer.

The jacket and vest look good, but those trousers are just so low-waisted. This was brought up in another thread, but if they're going to go with a shorter vest they need higher trousers or visa versa.

I prefer the look of the short vest but the trousers need to go up with it. [/rant]

I think we're getting closer, though. The lapels on the vest are pretty cool. I also like the fabric pattern. What weight is the material?

Think you can fix the pix? I tried to make them all visible since not all were and I failed miserably..
I'll try again when I get a chance tonight or tomorrow. Odd, since I pasted them all the same way.

I just picked up the 1818 herringbone in grey/brown and black... I agree 100% with your assessment - the only annoyer is the shortness of the waistcoat, and if definitely needs buttons for braces to hold the trousers in place high enough so your shirt is not visible...

Mine was a steal in the sale, and once Rafilio (my tailor) cuffed the trouser and took the jacket in at the waist it's golden.

The rolled third button is a lovely touch.

nice suit

The hats makes it
I have found that most BB suits are cut a little short in the vests.
As an Aussie owner I know that you just must get the suit that matches the K9 you have done that very well
