brim edge binding help please

i have a silverbelly stetson i have done a conversion on so it is very openroad like but with an unbound brim. does anyone have any help they can give me on the tips and techniques of how to bind and edge?

If it's a high quality hat, to be honest you'd be better off sending it to a qualified hatter to do it. I've seen them when their not done right and it doesn't look very pretty. If it's just a kick around hat, then go for it.
