In the late 1980s, I purchased what I was led to believe to be the "Indiana Jones" hat. I wore it for a great many years and it has definately seen better days.
I would like to have this hat brought back to life, so to speak. I have no interest or need for it to become and Indiana Jones Fedora (I now own an AdventureBilt and am quite happy), I would just like a new lid. Also, this hat originally had a teardrop crown.
I do not know what this fedora is made of, so I am looking for some advice. I live in Seattle. Does anyone know of a good hatter in the greater Seattle area (northern Oregon qualifies), that I could bring my hat to? I don't even know if it is worth the effort.
Any advice is appreciated.
Mike
