jack, it measures out to 25 inches, although there are 5 inch side panels under both arms, so this may be a bit off

Awesome colour Boyo and you definitely didn't need that extra length on the body. Sleeves might lose 0.25-0.5" so those look to be right on the threshold to me. If you don't like long sleeves (I do) I guess they're just about right. Nice job!

So does it bleed at all?

I really haven't put this through to much abuse just yet..it hasn't been wet or worn much outside... i will keep the panel informed if this bleeding occurs..

Edward, regarding the hem issue, I first asked for the leather strip and I was notified that Aero was not doing leather but a cord strip could be used instead, I was happy with that, although a bit later in the process I was informed that the cord hem was not necessary and I would be fine without it.. again I relented without much fight. to me it does look a bit unfinished without it, but as long as it maintains its shape I'll be fine without

the pocket is standard size, I never discussed any mods regarding the pocket

Boyo I think you need to measure the arm along the "top" from the shoulder seam to the cuff. I think the extra you thought was missing will be there when you measure this longest length of the arm.

Beautiful HB, Boyo. That cordovan HH is magic. The Hollyrood lining is a great choice, too. I gave my collar a hot water treatment to work it into a more collarly (?) look instead of the 'Pilgrim' shape it had from the factory. A nice jacket, and thanks for the pics.

mate, you're not measuring that sleeve right. You basically have to measure the outside of the sleeve all the way along the curve from shoulder seem to cuff, at the longest point.

If say you wear a (lightly coloured) canvass bag over your jacket one day you'll quickly find out if there's any bleeding. If there is it won't last forever and tbh even if it does last a while that's a small price to pay for the pleasure of owning a jacket in leather as magnificent as this

Does not look unfinished without the hem. I think the hem intrueds on the look of the lining. You don't want a brown cord strip messing with the look of that nice tartan lining. Looks great, and again - perfect length on body and sleeves!

That's one fine looking half belt Boyo. Never considered cordovan myself, but seeing the beautiful brown and purple hues in that hide has me wondering. I like it a lot! Show us some more pics when it's had some wear.

By the way, the lining choice is perfect.

I stand corrected.. When measured As Butte and Shitzo describe it measures exactly 26.5 inches.. Thanks for the clarification, and my apologies to Aero, and their fine machinists. A blatant case of user error..

Thanks Sloan! It has a bit of a connection to me as well (other than just looking great), my wife's parents are interred in a cemetery called Holy Rood... That made it a bit easier to talk her into the purchase
