That's what shows that it ain't pre-tied.A little lop-sided....
It is called insouciance.
I would like to see the third one tied. Interesting pattern there
does anyone know of an easy to follow instuctional video that makes tying a bowtie a piece of cake?
atI've been wearing bow ties for 15 yrs now. I get far more compliments than anyone would believe. the key to wearing a bow tie is not to give a flying rats *** what anyone thinks!
Hi folks.
I recently got my hands on some very nice bowties and cravats for cheap.
How can I wash them? Or MUST they be dry-cleaned? I've washed ordinary neck-ties by hand. But I'm not sure about these. They're pretty old. Some are silk, others are Rayon. The instructions on the Rayons just says: "Wash as silk", which I assume means "wash the same way you wash silk". A couple say "Dry Clean Only".
They don't smell, and they're not stained so far as I can see. But is there a way to safely wash silk (or rayon) garments at home? I've read many conflicting reports about this. Or am I overthinking this, and should just leave them be, and wear them as they are?
