The dogs never make it onto these pages. I have a stetson suede "gay prince" lookalike in my go away pile with all kinds of mothbites through the brim.

As far as the date goes, I really can't make it out. I see the 12 and the 4, last digit looks like a 5 changed to a 6, maybe? darn sloppy writers.

And this is yet another hat with the wind string button sewn to the felt. It seems to be very common, at least with the ones I pick up.

The final date numeral looks like a "6" to me, which when taken with the price I would think would likely indicate 1946, wouldn't you think?
