That has to be the most elaborate boater I have ever seen.

It didn't appear to be a typical Boater ast it seemed a bit softer like a Panama as the brim curled softly as he hit the pavement. Also, the crown didn't seem to have that squared off effect to it like the typical variety as the edge between the sides & top were fairly rounded.
Has anyone here seen an equivilent varity to this?
That's not it. But, oddly enough, it is the same hat that Orvis charges fifty bucks more for!up196 said:

Has anyone here seen an equivilent varity to this? Unfortunately there are no pictures to be had just yet of this particular lid to be found, otherwise I'd post it here as an example, but for those who have seen this film you know what I am talking about.
It just has a more relaxed summer feel to it & maybe it's just the way Depp wears it, but it looks fantastic. If there are any images that I haven't found yet, please post it. Thanks for any help in finding an good alternative folks.
Cheers!

Interesting- I thought it looked like a vintage hat, as the newer boaters all seem to be such a light color. I'll have to see if I can find a picture

I, sadly, was not wearing mine since the forecast called for much rain both days I was in London. As it was it was sunny and swealtering most of the time, I wish I had worn it and my linen. Ah well.
