Yeah, I dig how they draw out what we all know is the inevitable climax to some of the scenes. Yes, Nelson/George is gonna go OFF! The only question is just how off he's gonna go. But we know he'll be using the iron, and we know it's gonna put someone in a world of hurt. And we know when Billie and Nucky stare at each other, she at the entry to Babette's, he still out on the boardwalk, that something final is unfolding. It had something of the emotional resonance of the scene in "The Godfather" in the seconds before the Santino Corleone character meets his end at the toll plaza.

I'm left wondering how long Gillian's complicity in the Babette's bombing will remain unknown to Nucky, Rothstein, Luciano, et al.

If ever a character needed killin' is "the grieveing mother/widow". She's something else. Gotta admire her spirit on some levels though, she's absolutely determined to run her own thing her own way. But wow she makes my skin crawl.

PADDY - not sure as I've never tried it. I'll trade you guys Downton Abbey for some Boardwalk! We have to wait until January for it, but apparently there's ways that people watch things online. I can''t watch show this way as I am spoiled by a large TV. Do you guys get this later in the year or what?

I'm warming up to this Sigrid (Mrs. Nelson Van Alden/George Mueller) character. She's willing and able to administer deadly blows to her partner's adversaries, and she cooks up marketable hooch on her kitchen still.

We should all have such a devoted and resourceful spouse.
