So somebody bought it then. The $4000 price tag was somewhat prohibitive for me don't even want to know the new price in Japan!

My Block Aviator, Interior changed.

This is an old one, maybe pre-zipper. It is rather crusty, dried out. The fur collar is in excellent condition. Feels like mink.

This police jacket has a Laskinlamb collar. The nicest collar I have own. It fits both of my Block police jackets.

This one is dated 1940. No leather tag. This could be Bay Area Steerhide like Ralphs-Pugh used. I have not doubt the second police jacket is in this Steerhide.

This has a removed patch in the badge area. Some modification of the belt loops, sleeves may have been shortened. A most interesting back design. This one I do believe is Steerhide.

The collar from the jacket above also fits this guy.

I honestly think Block Bilt made some of the best styles I’ve ever seen in leather jackets. And this was in the 1930s!

At Inspiration Patty told me she had an offer on it from a Japanese buyer but she said you had first dibs and was waiting on you since I was supposed to take pictures and evaluate it for you. Knowing Patty she probably didn’t go down much, my guess is she sold it for $3500 and it probably has a $5k or more price tag on it now.
