I do like jackets with a subtle twist such as different knits from the norm :)

I just received some samples from Aero, leather, knits and buttons. They also want to try to make a jacket with natural CXL. This is one of my favourite leathers, now I am really tempted to go that route.

I'll try to post some photos of the swatches, knit and buttons tomorrow.

Here is the Natty Vicenza paired with the knits and buttons:

And here's the Natty CXL:

It's really hard to capture the natural color of both of these leathers. I played around with the colors a bit to make them as natural as possible.

A-1, man, those photos are art. New phone wallpaper!

I too would opt for Vicenza due to it being a lighter weight. You don't want anything heavier in an A-1. I think I prefer the darker color of the CXL but is it thinner than the other CXL colors? If not, I think I'd go Vicenza...more wearable. Who knew Aero had blue knits! Another pandora's box opened...

I'm not sure it suits the jacket you are after but I LOVE that natural CXL. How thick is it? I know Schott used it for their context Perfecto and I always thought a j106/ Daytona or KOTR would be killer in that hide. I was told natural CXL was no dice from Aero. If this has changed I need to know!
Blue knits would be awesome. I'd line my jacket with Blue Drill. Bright royal blue.

I've been thinking about a jean jacket from Aero in natural vicenza for some time, I think it would have a real 70s vibe about it, and it would look even better when it darkens.

It's really hard to say if it's as heavy as the other CXL. Judging from the little swatch I received it seems more mid-weight. But the Vicenza still seems a bit lighter and more wearable. I just don't know if I like the orange color it will turn into when worn. Just think I might get annoyed by it after some time. The CXL is more of a color I can't get enough of.
There is no blue in the knits I received. My favourite actually is the rust at the moment...

Aero just has enough of the CXL to make one jacket. It might be mine...

However, I think I might need some time to think about the options a little bit more.
I truly want a wearable jacket that dirties beautifully and that I want to put on every time I look at it. I just don't know if the Vicenza is too fashionable and clean for what I'm looking for.

Butte, I also love the light colored cats' eyes buttons. They are so beautiful but only an option when paired with the Vicenza.

Well, I wrote with Denny from Aero and he was so kind to send me some more swatches of the jerky horse as I'm not sure of the Natty Vic or CXL are the best choices for me. I love both leathers but the Vic seems to become orange, which is the only color I am not too fond of. And the CXL seems to be too heavy for that kind of jacket.

Does anyone have a photo of the Natty Vicenza beaten up really hard? I just saw some photos of it where the colour darkened a bit. But nothing in the likes of it being worn really hard. By which I mean really, really hard.

And does anyone perhaps have photos of Aeros Jerky Horse, whatever the color? Or maybe even a video? I would really like to see how it drapes and all.
