Black tie, pearl studs

For white tie, either MOP (plain or edged with silver or gold or with a diamond, silver or gold centre) or solid gold studs is appropriate. Not too sure about oynx studs as I would think they are more suited to black tie.

Ideally, you should have a matching set of shirt and waistcoat studs and cufflinks but these sets are very expensive.
