Klein bicycles had a stock colour named "Plum Crazy" and it was close to this colour. I like it!
I used to dream about owning a Klein…almost 39 years ago. My mountain bike days are behind me.

My wife owns a true Klein. The last model year before it was sold to Trek. I have a Klein but made after the buyout by TrekI used to dream about owning a Klein…almost 39 years ago. My mountain bike days are behind me.

Considering a black cherry Hornskov. My search for an example of a FEPSA black cherry hat led me to this thread, but still no luck. I really did want to see an example or two, but if no one in the lounge has one, that kind of makes it more tempting!
Here’s what I’m considering. But I would get either the silk grosgrain or vintage grosgrain rather than the “rayon grosgrain” petersham. I am happy with my Hornskovs with the petersham, but one of them has the silk grosgrain, and it’s definitely a step up (not that I need to convince you of that!)It can certainly be a great color. I think it’s easy to get wrong e.g. Winchester’s current incarnation.
I had a Winchester Black cherry, new iteration, and I could not tell it was any different from their black. The only indication was when I steamed it a bit of purpleish dye leaked out.It can certainly be a great color. I think it’s easy to get wrong e.g. Winchester’s current incarnation.
