That would be an ecumenical matter.
Father Ted reference, I presume? This one made me laugh, either way.

Beautiful jackets. I have a very early one which has a couple of different details - pillion pockets (which I don't believe have been a feature since ELC reintroduced the model a few years ago), and a quilted nylon lining. Chunkier zips, too. Lovely jacket. Lighter horse than the Aero FQHH, but still with a fair level of heft - assuming you didn't object to the lack of armour, I can totally see it being grand on the back of a bike. Mine came without a belt; I bought used, but I suspect that this is how it came new, certainly pre-ELMC at least it's the only way I've seen ELC advertise them. I'm currently debating whether to keep or sell this one.... it's beautiful, but (much like the Aero MC jacket) it's definitely a neat one round the waist. Grand over the shoulders, but not for a pot belly. I may keep it as I need to lose a couple of stone anyway, then reassess, or I may sell it on and replace with an Aero J106 later on (I've got a beautiful Johnson steer D pocket in a very 50s style currently, and I'm tempted to go for the Aero in black but with shiny brass rather than the chrome I have on the other two). Tough decision, as I know if the ELC goes, the ELMC are just nudging into a price bracket above my comfort zone.
My Aero finally arrived not too long ago, extensively modified Perfecto-styled FQHH MC jacket. I was debating whether to go for the J106 or the Brando/Indian Ranger and the only reason why I went for the latter was because I was hoping that if I would ever own a proper D-pocket, it would have to be Eastman Roadstar, how much that jacket impressed me. Edward, if you ever decide the fate of your Eastman, could I be the first in line?
The Fedora Lounge is not VLJ, and we have not hesitated to toss members who carry over the free-for all atmosphere to The Fedora Lounge.
On the other hand it is always OK to malign, disparage, ridicule, poke with a stick, etc. whenever the opportunity presents itself to anyone from the state of Oklahoma unless one has been pulled over by an Oklahoma law enforcement officer (constable) for exceeding the legal speed limit in that state.I hope that good natured banter not designed to malign or disparage anyone would be considered OK.
Talking of VLJ, I notice Platon, Andy's compadre over there, posted this: "ANNOUNCEMENT: Pop the champagne! It's now official, a deal that was in negotiations for long time is now concluded and the ownership of BK was very recently transferred to UK interests. The new owners will contribute greatly with their vast knowledge and expertise in the areas of leather garment and fashion industry so be prepared to enjoy more products of outstanding quality. The old management and personnel remain in their positions so please do not worry, you will not feel any changes."
And when asked who it was by our good Dr H, he replied intriguingly: "Sorry, I am not allowed to say because they are afraid it might create imbalance in the market. They will be changing everything, logos, website, add new products etc. soon."
Let the wild conjecture begin!!!!
Why do you think Eastman?
From the description, sounds like Aero or Alexander. Let's just hope it isn't Primark!

Shhh, Mr F, this is all part of the fun!
