Bill Kelso Duke-Capeskin?

I saw this BK on ebay while wearing my Victory HH Duke. It took me by surprise and a few minutes to realize it was a BK. Having one to compare with certainly helped me confirm.

It is also a size 44, so I thought it was worth at least a try on.

I have on vintage Capeskin jacket from the 30s. It is hardly worn, but still disintegrating. I've avoided capeskin on other vintage jackets as it just so fragile. It was a popular leather choice pre-war.

I wear the Victory and the Cape in the Video. They could not be more different..

I put a ? in the title. I assume it is Capeskin. I had confirmation from a friend, but he only saw the ebay photos so not sure what he thinks now. BK list several similar leathers. I have no idea how old this jacket is.

I have a BK A1 in dark seal Capeskin. It looks very similar to your 30's jacket. It is soft, almost velvety to the touch and has areas of light mottles wrinkling and areas where it is smooth (ish) and void of wrinkles (best description I can do, sorry)

It's 100% capeskin. I have handled this jacket in the flesh having originally purchased it off the seller about 2wks ago. She had it listed as a true vintage jacket. I was insanely excited to be able to pick it up for the price I paid. Sadly, I knew right away it was a repro vs an original. Not feeling motivated to resell it, I contacted the seller and she graciously accepted a return/refund.

It did appear to have been sold and returned. Your return lowered the price even more.

It is something different. I'm rather liking it. Very nice for warmer weather. Not for a harsh climate or rough handler, so I will be careful or move it along.
