Dear Fedora Lounge Members & Administration,

My membership has just been approved.

I believe a proper introduction is in order in as a courtesy and gentlemanly conduct.

My name is Marco Botelho de Sousa and although I've been born in Portugal, I was raised, studied and worked in England.

That means that although I am legally Portuguese, I am in all practice measures British.

I am a jurist and legal counselor as week as an timate classic gentleman.

I am the very proud owner of a collection 0s 189 hats, mainly composed of Fedora, Trilby and large brim sryle hats.

I hope to be able to contribute in the exact same proportion of what I get from this fuorum.

I do believe this will be a more than frutuous bilateral cooperation.

Yours faithfully,

Marco Botelho de Sousa J.C.

Today's attire

✦ Navy Blue Rabbit Felt Fedora Hat
✦ 10.50/5.0/6.50cm
✦ Red satin inlay
✦ Dapper Hatter Custom Taylored Dark Tanned Brown Suede Strap.

The Hat has been, progressively, broken in for a week on the following fashion:

✦ Day I ➔ Worn for one hour ➔ Form ➔ Dynamic Spring Shaper ➔ The rest of the day in the Condensation Chamber;

✦ Day II ➔ Worn for two hours ➔ Form ➔ Dynamic Spring Shaper ➔ The rest of the day in the Condensation Chamber;

✦ Day III ➔ Worn for four hours ➔ Form ➔ Dynamic Spring Shaper ➔ The rest of the day in the Condensation Chamber;

✦ Day IV ➔ Worn for six hours ➔ Form ➔ Dynamic Spring Shaper ➔ The rest of the day in the Condensation Chamber;

✦ Day V ➔ Rest in a moisture balanced box;

✦ Day VI ➔ Brushing and forming;

✦ Day VII ➔ Worn for the whole day ➔ Form filler ➔ Crown Prorector ➔ Rest in a moisture balanced box.

He is now ready for regular use, and what a beauty it is...!

✦ ✦ ✦ Note ✦ ✦ ✦

I sincerely hope that you enjoy the Hat and reading about the process and experience of braking him in, as much as I enjoyed doing it and, now, writing about that experience.

Cheers.
