I just saw Barbara Hulanicki an hour ago; I shit you not. I was sitting in a Starbucks having a coffee with a visiting Londoner and discussing Biba (after having read this thread) when who comes strolling by the store window but Barbara (I had told him that she always walking the neighborhood but I don't think he believed me.). What are the odds of reading this thread, discussing Biba with somebody who was actually well versed on the subject, and then seeing (and meeting) the lady herself. He said that it made his whole three week stay.
