Best "Cossack" style tea-core leather jacket around $1000?

I've been on the hunt for a Cossack style leather jacket in a black tea core for some time. The two I landed on are the Mister Freedom campus in Stallion and the Shangri-La Heritage goatskin in tea-core (they also make a black horsehide but does not appear to be tea-core).

MF
Pros: cowhide, located in US and returns should be more straight-forward if needed, hand warmer pockets are nice to rest hands, likely slightly cheaper without tariffs (though I know Aug 1 they are increasing prices
Cons: no internal pocket (i love stashing my keys in one), slightly shorter length

Shangri-La
Pros: internal pocket, one could argue the patch pockets are more practical
Cons: lamb skin, high return costs etc., less established than MF
Which would you guys get? Or is there a third option I am unaware of around the $1000 range?My pros and cons of both are bellow and I genuinely am stuck

Buy an MF jacket and you will be satisfied. The main thing is that the jacket fits you

I'm a little bit confused. Shangri-La has one in lamb, one in steer and one in HH but none in goat so not sure where you found that one. I have another one of theirs in tea core vicenza steer and it's amazing so I've been eyeing this one myself:

With the JPY being so cheap, you could also look at Double Helix, I have their 1920's in both black and olive tea core HH.
It's a little bit more expensive than your target but it's the real deal.

An interesting topic regarding the jacket with the distinctive collar.

Personally, I find the cossack style comfortable to wear. It shouldn't be made of overly thick leather that takes time to break in (like horsehide or thick cowhide). In this case, the Shangri-La ale jacket you described seems suitable with its soft leather. However, the side pockets seem a bit inconvenient to use (unless you never use them and only use them for aesthetics).

I've had the chance to try 2-3 of these jackets: one from Italy in calfskin, a Fine Creeks Ale Jacket in horsehide, and currently a deerskin one from Trophy Clothing
