I've never seen anything like this turn up before -- the Berlin White Pages for 1941. If you've ever wanted to call up Albert Speer in the middle of the night and ask him if he has Prinz-Albert in a can, his number is Berlin 99 43 76. Be sure to reverse the charges.

Although I'm surprised to see Adolf listed as 'Der Reichsfuhrer' rather than his name (Berlin 12 00 40).

Haha! What a find! I wonder how many people in that phone book are still alive?

Phone books at one time were very helpful to track down someone. My Husband's family background is Germany and he was able to track down relatives in the early 1070's using a phone book and having someone help place calls that could speak German.
