Belstaff Leathermaster Care - Advice needed

Hello everyone, I need advice on how to care for this jacket. I got it used and am in the process of removing the cigarette smell using active charcoal. Next step would be to do some routine conditioning, but have no idea what to use on it as it might be hand waxed leather (no clue how to tell). I have Saphir Creme Universelle, Saphir Dubbin Graisse and Motul Perfect Leather. I read that maybe Bick 4 could be a better choice, if so, any other options easier to get in Europe? Thanks!

Hmm. I had what sounds similar with a cougar from about the same mid 2000's era. It seemed to be more the coating on mine than the leather on my jacket, felt like it was breaking down. Is tricky to know what to do for the best with some of the finishes on these.

You could write to Belstaff and ask what their recommendations are.

I wouldn’t put that Bick’s conditioner on a jacket. I can’t stand the smell of it. I bought a big bottle of it during the pandemic, and only use it on my boots. But once it’s gone, I won’t buy it again.
