leather conditioner

Hello everyone, I need advice on how to care for this jacket. I got it used and am in the process of removing the cigarette smell using active charcoal. Next step would be to do some routine conditioning, but have no idea what to use on it as it might be hand waxed leather (no clue how to tell)...

I just noticed a few small scuffs on a leather belt I have from Gucci, would it be ok to use Saphir cream on the belt to fix them? It's Saphir Medaille d'Or Pommadier Cream specifically. I use it for my leather boots/shoes, but wasn't sure if it was ok to use on a leather belt. Anyone with any...
