New, instore & online - BILL KELSO CADET BADALASSI LEATHER JACKET
This is a 1920s-30s very popular shawl collar cossack style sports jacket worn by aviators, motorcycle riders, hunters, and even factory workers.
Various makers of the era offered their versions and among the most notable were Levi’s, Simmons Bilt, Knopff and H&L Block.
Back in the day those companies made most of these jackets unlined, but today Bill Kelso produces it with a choice of linings for more versatility.
This design is based on an early and rare H&L Block which features zipper closure, shawl collar, and two arrow shaped patch pockets.
The Badalassi Carlo Tannery has an over 40 year long specialization in vegetable-tanning. The cowhide leather option has endured the test of time in the Japanese market, and several renowned leather jacket manufacturers use and value it more than their horsehide counterparts.
Badalassi cowhide is a high quality full-grain vegetable tanned with aniline finish leather. In fact, its aniline finish is one of the best seen. It gives a deep, rich and uniform colour like no other.
This is a beautiful jacket. The Badalassi and jacket style looks super nice!
Full review of the leather is a must!
