So we can finally put the whole WL mess behind us now and move on. This week all of the recovered goods were returned to us and they are now safely back in the factory.
It is going to take a little while for us to get our heads around exactly what is there and catalogue it all but I can confirm there will a "Grand Theft Aero"sale in a few months time, the date and further details will follow once we figure out the logistics. It will involve a physical open weekend here at the factory but also some kind of online sale for those people that can't make it to Scotland. Obviously we would love to see as many people as possible.

Below is a little teaser for you of some of the stuff.......

Did know one notice all this stuff was slowly disappearing? Amazing. Hope they have a 36" café racer amongst all that!?

Please do consider us unfortunate souls who are on the other side of the planet & simply will not have an opportunity to visit in person.....

By the way, I should also say that the video is jaw dropping. I was waiting for you to leave the Aero stock room & show what was misappropriated, then I realised that this WAS the haul.

It beggars belief......

When i see all that stuff i feel very sorry for you. But i am sure that there are a lot of people here who are willing to help you get rid of that stuff and hopefully some bad memories.

Wow. I agree with the above. The video really gives scale to the whole thing. Just amazing and sickening really. There has to be some measure of satisfaction in getting it back though and you can certainly count me in as someone anxiously awaiting these items being up for sale.

Wow, some haul indeed!

How about online auctioning the swag (or at least some of it), to give everyone a fair crack at it, and Aero would maximise recovery too? It could even be done on this site.

What a haul! Glad it has finally returned home, no doubt the sale will be a massive success and hopefully make things seem a lot more positive now it's all sorted. For me I like that beat-up civvie(?) A-2 at the very end of the video, oh, and I want a Thrift Shop carrier bag for the memories :) !

That old 'A2' at the end isn't going anywhere I'm afraid that is a family piece , it was mine as a kid around 8yrs ( so too small anyway) this will be kept for when I have kids.
This one really hurt my parents the fact that he could stoop so low as to steal their kids jacket ! It even has the Calder name tag and the back is hand painted by my father with Goofy holding a bomb (my favourite cartoon character at the time)

Denny, that video is way beyond impressive. I imagine that many jackets will have to be inspected and relabeled from storse issues if not already done. Glad that you will recoup at least some of the costs from the theft. I suspect loss from the purloined patterns given to a third party though is another matter.
