Looking for a B3 for the cold Winter coming this year in Canada.
Any ideas about relative fit and wear on a Lost Worlds or an Aero appreciated.
I am a size 42 regular and usually get added length to the sleeves -26 inches.

If your choices are Aero or LW..., no doubt Aero.
Ask for Holly, she will assist and no worries on extra length for the sleeves.

Well, let's look at the numbers ...
Lost Worlds B-3 is US$ 1700 = CDN$2278.94.
Aero B-3 is 725 Pounds = CDN$1216.72

So the Aero B-3 is over a thousand dollars less than the LW B-3 (thanks to a favourable UK exchange rate for you right now. The US exchange rate is bad for us, as you know) and if there's any kind of problem, you can feel assured that Aero will see you right and the quality is all there. I'd go with Aero.
Hope that helps.

So the Aero is half the price of a LW (thanks to a favourable UK exchange rate for you right now) and if there's any kind of problem, you can feel assured that Aero will see you right and the quality is all there. What more is there to say?
Hope that helps.
Thank you

why the Aero preference over LW if I may ask?
First the price difference in favor of Aero, secondly, just read here about how happy buyers were with LW and Aero...Another clear advantage for Aero.
Third, craftmanship and care of authenticity...large and clear advantage for Aero against LW.
Last but not least reselling value...again for Aero.

While Stu from LW isn't real warm and fuzzy, I've never read a single complaint about LW's workmanship. Most people say that the stitching and general workmanship of LW is literally flawless.

Lost Worlds changed the type of skins a couple of years ago to a softer more comfortable grade. The horsehide is still quite stiff though, but overall the quality is very high imo. Aero have some very nice sheepskin, very dense fleece with a flexible leather. Combining this with a good pattern, fabulous choice of horsehide and customer service second to none then it's a great choice. As others point out a jacket sourced in North America should present fewer possible issues concerning customs, shipping or returns so HPA shouldn't be overlooked. I bought one of the newer ELC B3's recently, it was very good.

Having handled and owned jackets by all three, they're all great. LW don't hold with accuracy in the same way as Aero and ELC, rhough my lw B3 is great, and good (don't compare to their very inauthentic a2 offerings). Today, I'd buy Aero as the pick of the bunch, especially if price is an issue. Ymmv, of course.

Can't go wrong either way. I know you've owned a few LW's and Though I don't own this particular model, I have owned jackets from both makers. Aero is definately the friendlier seller but both offer superb gear. Pick the one that scratches ya where you itch...and update the thread when you do!
