ATTN LADIES: HarpPlayerGene's selling his Party Dress!

This was a find when my gal and I bought a property several years ago. I make no claim as to the authenticity of the info on the little tag but that was on it when we obtained the dress.

It appears handmade (nicely) with no brand labels.
Back zip and clasp.
Beautiful pinkish, purplish cast to the deep sheen on the material.
Small but not sure of women's sizing. Too small to get onto my male coat display so I just pinned it up to it for pics.

Neck opening: 11" diameter
Arm holes: 6" diameter
Overall length from shoulder top to bottom edge: 40"
Bust: 17 to 18" across when laid flat

If anyone wants to PM any offer, I'll entertain it. I edited the original listing to that effect. Not sure how to value these things but I'd just like to see it find the right person. We didn't buy the dress but it did cost the amount of a house to get it for free. Ha! Still, it's just some simple, pretty little garment with no real vintage significance.

That makes sense - thanks, Bella.

Not sure how far below the waist constitutes the hips so this photo is best I can do to convey the dimensions. The narrowest waist part is 12" across when flattened. Less than three inches below that is a seem where the dimensional flat width is fixed at only 15". About three inches lower is where I think a lady's hip would be and there you're getting into a portion that is pleated all around so the width would vary but is about 17" when flat and not pulled out. It is little isn't it. Maybe for a classy kid?... [huh]
