I assumed something like this, but also the fact that it was specified made me think that there's some difference I should know about. An antelope jackrabbit is a hare.
Whatever you say.

Ahh, sometimes there are gaps in the Lounge feed and I don't get the entire thread. It shows up as a brand new thread. My sincerest apologies!Where have you been?
But...ummm...the word "rabbit" is in the name you used--"jackrabbit". So wouldn't it...oh, never mind; I'm fine with it either way.An antelope jackrabbit is a hare.

Of course I did. I'm not crazy.I'm sure you read that in her voice, too.
This one isn't exact, but similar if you were to "snap" the front of the brim down. Maybe if you search for this style you'll find what you're looking for.Not sure if this the right thread (apologies if it isn't).
Does anyone know what hat this is? Either who makes it or the specific brand name.
Hello - first time poster! I have acquired a Dobbs of 5th Avenue Fedora. The hat band is finished at the rear rather than at the side as I am used to seeing. Any ideas on date? View attachment 362908 View attachment 362909
Welcome!
Back Bows had a couple of times when they were in vogue. Along with the proportions, I’d say yours is late 1950s. It’s helpful to see the interior too with the markings on the sweatband, the liner, size tags (if still there), and the factory tags under the sweatband. The more we have to go on the better.
