I am looking for a Knox Jaguar (that exact brand and exact hat) size 7-1/4 in dark or light charcoal, must have original band and the Jaguar badge/pin in excellent condition. I prefer the box to go with it. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks for any leads.

Right! I had a DV-52, one step down from the 55. The 52 was kind of Guilds answer to the Martin D-28 and like the idiot I sometimes am, sold it.
oh my ... I know the feeling ... I had a '66 Gretsch Round Badge drum kit ... 100% original .... ran into a little bit of a tight spot money wise and sold the damn thing ... I'll regret that forever

those 55s are unbelievable ... I've played garbage guitars my whole life ... I don't deserve anything like that

my nicest stick right now is a Martin X1AE ... quite possibly their lowest offering ... it just about equals my hack skills

Thanks to 7o's AOR FM stations that terrible 7o's dreck has worn a deep groove into my brain I may never see healed, along with JourneyStyxForeignerFloydEagles and other associated corporate detritus.
There was good music made in the 7o's. But that ain't it.

Hello
Does anyone know the difference in color between the Biltmore London grey and Stetson caribou? They look similar in some instances but in other website ads they look totally different.
Which one is darker and what is characteristic of either one ? Bob Roberts?
Enough to justify my buying a one of each or not.

Wish I could help you more. My only Biltmore in "London Grey" was a NOS Canadian Biltmore Selkirk in "Rosselini" finish. I don't own any Stetson in the "Caribou" color but Jims (Frunos) recent Stetson from the outlet was in "Caribou" and looked great. If you like BOTH HATS buy them. They will not be the exact same shade of grey.

I have two Caribou Stetsons. They have an element of violet in their hue.
