Nasty. Is that really SANITARY...?
...and if they cant...? Or if they cant get it in a timely manner...? Which is why I suggested the purchaser do a deep search online.call the store
email the store
Morse code
send a pigeon with a f^$@ing letter
whatever....
all completely inferior to walking into a store and touching the merchandise before buying
if you are in proximity ... which he is ... then this is the best way and I don't even think it is a disputable proposition
I don't care if you are buying a hat , a car , a dog , or an umbrella
if you are able to get to the establishment ... go to there and touch it or something like it and see if they can get what you want ... in person
period
Hello Anthony, my name is Al.who the hell would want to look at my mug and have a conversation this long ?
Well,
If you have the option I would prefer going to the maker itself. I'm not talking about hats only but in general. If the person knows what he's talking about I prefer speaking with them.
Now that's maybe just me but it does help if they see what you can do, and what is possible. That's also the reason I don't have a store but a workshop so to speak. (Atelier)
This way the people can see what is going on and how things are made.
On the other hand it's not always possible, and I have done fine without it. Skype, email, telephone etc all works very well. If you know how to speak the language and are comfortable with the product you're selling you should be fine. I have no excuse for my stinking accent though
I do enjoy it all, honestly.
If the end result is what it needs to be I'm fine with it.
But nothing will beat me offering my clients coffee and working together to get the hat they desire.
I might randomly throw some ribbon at them out of pure excitement though
Then again, good hatmakers are rare, so we will have to make do with what we have communication wise.
+1Well said! I enjoyed your post Esther.
And I think your accent is fine. I have one too, Southernese.Well said! I enjoyed your post Esther.

Your English is considerably better and easier to understand than that of most Americans.Thank you.
I just filmed it in between and posted it.
I looked after and was so shocked. It just sounds like english in my head but came out all different.
Oh well, as long as you can understand me it's all good I guess
Too much information!commando son

Thx! I blame full house.
1950's would be mid-century for the 1900, right? This hat looks much younger than a 50's model with that shaped size tag.Question: WHAT exactly IS a mid-century Stetson 10x? ...
Is it an indication of a 100% Beaver body?
