^^^^^ I often find the best way to get through these long shipping / delivery times is to buy another hat "locally" to get my mind off of it.
Always good advice!

I have one here. I'll check it out, thank you for the 411.FYI, in my part of the world, Hobby Lobby has heavy duty round 14X6 and 15X7 (and other sizes) Christmas craft boxes that make really nice hat boxes (if you don't mind holiday themed boxes). 66% off regular $10, so they are a great buy at $3.50.
That is a great price. In Canada we don't have Hobby/Lobby but do have Michaels. Michaels boxes even on sale with the 50% off coupon run $12-15 dollars. Can't tell you exactly, but I have one from Berteil (made by Borsalino) with a Cavanagh edge (feltrato in Italian) made in 1980. There is a thread on the subject, and I should re-read that, but here's a link anyway.Until when were hats with the Cavanagh edge made?

So I've heard of bashes with a dog bone crease or a mule kick, would this one be considered a "gone postal?"I got my woomera today from Hats by the Hundred. Ordered on a Saturday, December 7, and shipped on the 11th. Two weeks from Australia to my post office, where I picked it up, if you don't count Christmas Eve and Day. Unlike some comments I'd read, the hat was clean and was shipped in a hat box with all the appropriate protection AND Fragile stickers on the box. That being said, it still didn't protect the hat.
I'm looking for ideas for the crown. View attachment 202393 View attachment 202394
I like that crease. Some front dents for sure and maybe small rear ones. CoolI got my woomera today from Hats by the Hundred. Ordered on a Saturday, December 7, and shipped on the 11th. In answer to your question, lots of steam should do the trick. If it's made of the heritage grade felt, your patience may be tested a bit more than it would if it were the imperial grade. If it was shipped with a factory crease then I would have to think that would make it a bit easier to fix.

Hey...we’re your buddies!! LolI have no doubt it could grow on me. I'm going to work on it tomorrow but I need to show it to a buddy first before I do anything.
Looks more like a dental crease. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you...the Molar!"View attachment 202394 Definitely a Postal Crease...
