I really like the way Mr. Elwell used the "mist/fog" to "frame" the canoe and it's occupants to draw attention to it/them. I looked at some of his other work, and this seems to be a unique technique for him; perhaps an experiment?I like old canoes & own a couple of wood canvas ones, but you don't see birch bark canoes anymore.
