While not a figure of the 'Golden Era' certainly a remarkable and talented artist whom I had the pleasure of meeting several times. Funny and unpredictable in the extreme...he was a man of imense charm,humor and grace. A great underated talent.

I love those first three love records more than just about any other three records by any band. Sad thing that he spent all that time in jail too.
