here's my school digital art project.
We had to make business cards. I chose barber shop.
I just thought I'd share. Because I can, and because it has an old school look to it. The phone # and address are completely made up, they just sounded good, and Lebanon is a town I've been to.

Looks nice. When I did that in H.S. I did my brother's tatoo and body piercing shop. (I wonder why I failed?)

He still uses the card design today. Yours looks much better then mine did.

Incidentally, I just did a similar project:

'Twas done at the last minute before the deadline. The address is from a hobby shop from 1939.

Well- I just did another business card- this one for myself.
It uses an old matchbook graphic, but the rest is mine.
I think I might change the font on the email to make it easier to read.
would you say it looks vintage? (even though it has email on it)

I did this Vintage inspired Time cover for class a while ago. Painted in oil. I went to a local mens clothing store to get pics of the hat. The gentleman there was very helpful in allowing me to pick through all the lids to get the one I was looking for.

Here's my real current business card. While not exactly vintage in style, it does have a very retro theme to it. Some of you may recognize the popular commercial icon it's based on.

I hand drew the image outline, scanned it, then colored/rendered the rest in photoshop (on my laptop, without benefit of a stylus or even a mouse - just a touchpad). Can you tell I used to make my living as an airbrush artist before becomming a tattooist?
