VS Pan-Cattleman

Below is an unusual hat Art recently made me. I had an older Hopkins of Baltimore Panama Hat that had a cattleman's crease and a wide 3 1/2 or 4 inch brim. It was a beautiful hat but unfortunatelty the brim had a crack in the straw. The crown however was still in nice shape so I sent it off to Art and he made a Dualist out of it for me. The brim felt is Mojave and the ribbon is a dark brown. As always, Art did a fantastic job and I love the hat. When I showed Che a picture of it he appropriately dubbed it a "Pan-Cattleman". Thanks Art and thanks Che for the nickname!

Thanks Ed. The original hat was beautiful and it broke my heart when I received it and found the crack in the brim. Thanks to Art though it will still be around for quite awhile.

Thanks, Mike. I had many nice comments on my Hoosier. And it helped my wife find me in the crowd which in China was usually hard to do!

it was a ebay win that some dummy didnt care about packing properly..& listed it as a 7 1/4...too dumb to mention it had a 7 3/8 tag & no pic provided.
it was a Columbian hat that was cool with a big smashed crown & a crappy cheap black ribbon....no pics of past mess but i would never know it was the past mess with the exception of the brim binding which was original ,,,geez i should have had ART change that too....
But a nice job & fit to my 22 5/8 LO & a nice sweat installed .....Im happy..

Che, spectacular result with that Panama. Fantastic ribbon, love the "V" knot, Art's got style down. That straw looks fine too, swear it looks like there's a plaid pattern running through it. Glad Art saved it for you. Enjoy that Indian Summer too!
