Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

Wow, what a great surprise. My very 1st VS showed up today at the post office and all I can say is WOW. Pictures to follow.

Ok, here's a quick couple for now, until I stop shaking.

We went with a theme, if you will. My team (bolts) colors are powder blue, navy, gold and white. I wanted some ribbon work that nobody has done yet and I think he nailed it for me. Thanks Art for making my very 1st VS very personable for me. You're the best man.

Just got this one back ... Art did the ribbon for me on my PB Monti .... Dark Maroon is the color! Art didn't do the block as I liked it the way it was but the ribbon really added to it!!! I stole the color from Wineguy (at his permission) as I loved his hat before the "ink episode" ... thanks Wineguy!! The lighting isn't good but the color of the ribbon is correct .... the hat however is a little more of a butter color then what is showing up. Daizawaguy makes taking photos of hats look easy ... I should have just waited till in the morning to take the photos!!!

Well I talked with Art today and I am in que. I have decided on an Adam's Majestic clone in either Powder Blue or Silver Mist. Discovered today that Silver Mist is a special order so Art has to get it. If the wait for the felt is too long then I will go with the powder blue. I did ask Art to make the brim 2 3/4 inches. Looking forward to it. The link below in Art's Ribbons post 19 second hat is the model for my hat.
