Hello all.
I would like to sell my ‘like new’ Art Fawcett Fedora. I can’t see a mark on it anywhere. All pictures taken on 12/25/21. It has my initials (PC) inside the band. I hope you can see by the pictures that it has been worn very little as there are no signs of wear. Size 7 3/8. I hope I am asking a fair price of $325 obo to include shipping.

Nice hat. Is is beaver or rabbit fur felt? What’s the brim width and crown height? Your photos don’t look at all like any of the VS dove gray hats I’ve seen. The color doesn’t look like the light gray all the others hats have had. Are you sure this is dove gray?

My VS Dove Grey has a decided blue undertone to the grey. Could be the dye lots changed over the years or it is just camera/computer calibration issue.

Friends,
I used my phone camera to take the pictures. I thought for sure it is(was) dove gray. If I am mistaken I am sorry. I bought it about ten years ago but just didn’t bond with it. I bought two others from Art, a silver/white color and another that was almost a burgundy color. Those two hats I sold quickly. I always thought the gray would go well with many of my suits but I very early wore it.
I will get measurements this evening and post them here.

I had that thought too. I have a VF Limestone that is quite light in colour and had two raw felts that were much darker. Likely from two very different dye lots.

Yes, it is a great colour and only offered by Art and Leon Drexler (that I am aware of anyway)

I love the look of the hat. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in another thread, the timing’s just not quite right, having just got two new Hornskovs. My wife is telling me to just enjoy the pictures.

Friends, I am also putting up my Art Fawcett ‘tobacco’ color Fedora. I have the box for both hats. Both are 7 3/8. $325 also for this one. They were each over $400 new.
