ARE THE AKUBRA HERITAGE MODELS GOING TO RETURN?

I have a twenty two year old Banjo Paterson graphite that I wear to weekend dinners along with a forty year old Stetson Gambler in black, my everyday hat, and a Custom full 100% natural beaver western hat made here in Denver circa 2013. I’m in the market for another Akubra Heritage and my gut is telling me that the factory has gone through big changes after the pandemic. I’m sure knowledgeable folks know the real story regarding the non existence of Heritage models save for the Banjo Paterson. Care to share? Appreciate.

Akubra, which used to be family run business, was bought by an investment company in 2023. How Akubra will evolve is anybody's guess.

The Hattery Katoomba https://hatsdirect.com Stocks a few. They just sent me a Federation IV in heritage. I noticed they also had Banjo Patersons. I keep hoping they will make a run of Heritage Campdrafts.

I'm curious as to what you mean with the above statement

I see this on Hats Directs site:

And I see The Federation IV available in two versions, one being deluxe

Are you saying the deluxe is part of the heritage collection?

I also see that the Federation IV is exclusive to Hats Direct. I assume Heritage Collection hats are available from other sources

The Federation IV is a Hattery exclusive, no one else sells them. The deluxe model is made with heritage felt.

I see now that the Federation IV Deluxe is actually labeled on the liner as "Heritage Collection"

Interesting how The Hattery chooses to call the Heritage Collection variant of the Fed IV "Deluxe" and not the same for the Banjo Paterson (Is there even a non Heritage Collection Banjo Paterson?)
