Anyone familiar with the old brand "Cycle-Leather"?

Hello: Is anyone familiar with a defunct entity named "Cycle-Leather"? I came across this ad purported to be from 1955. The company was located in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles and appears to have begun in 1925. I don't recall ever coming across their label on any vintage cycling gear, and haven't been able to learn anything more about them; it's unclear from the ad whether they were a manufacturer or merely sold products under their label. It doesn't help that their ad man wasn't detail oriented, as the copy reflects three slightly different spellings of the company name. Thanks.

The jacket in the ad, except for the “duck-tail”, looks like a Cal. Some Cal jackets come with a leather face-piece (not fur as shown in the ad).

Cal is located near LA. Cycle-Leather could be a shop that sold relabeled Cal, with some additional custom tweaks.

I had a Cycle Leather trucker many years ago, vintage, that I had picked up for a decent price. The leather on it was beautiful, aged very nicely, amazing patina. But it wasn't in the best condition, so I moved it on.

I think someone from this forum told me that they were made by Schott, but I don't know that that is true; likely Schott's historian could confirm, but since Gail passed away some time ago, and they shut down their forums, I don't know that they still have that service.
