Anyone ever seen a Vanson with Crown Zippers?

I know they only started in 1974 and this doesn't even have the oldest label, but it has all Crown zippers. Unusual?

From what I understand Crown evolved into Coats & Clark -- (C&C) and the unique Crown track remained the same at least for a while. The pulls changed many times. These would match the mid to late 70s timeline I believe.

I have an old model E with the same zipper.
Crown zippers were manufactured at the Spool cotton company , which, at one point, was operated by Coats Clark.
Thus the Crown logo on the bottom end.

I have seen them. Several in the flesh. To be honest, Tony had a beautiful Model E that I coveted for a long time. Those pulls are bulletproof. Nice find.

Currently, I have a nice size 46 Reed CR in the classified with that very same zipper. What I like about those particular zippers is the nice nickle finish.

You're absolutely correct, it has the Crown track and the C&C pull. Must be one of the early Vansons....
