Any Loungers in Florida?

Just curious. Loungers seem to be everywhere, but I haven't seen anyone else who is in the "sunshine state" (that's sarcasm in the quotations, people.) Anybody else live in Disney-ville?

I make jokes a lot, but this is a pretty nice town. When I was a kid I lived in Tampa, and my parents moved me here with them just when I was entering my teenage years. At first I hated this city because there was nothing to do. Now that I'm older, I feel the opposite. I like the laid-back feeling.

But until I Wiki-ed Ocala, I had no idea we were the lightning capitol of the world. I thought that was Tallahassee.

Never been to your neck of the woods, though. Looks nice.

We certainly are a hot-bed of illiteracy here in Florida, home of some of the most ill-worded graphiti in the world.

(Ironically, I think I may have misspelled "illiteracy" or "graphiti" )

...actually Davie, Florida. Plenty of horse poop here too.

About two weeks ago, we had two horses loose in our development.

The local authorities had to round them up with their squad cars.

It was quite a sight.

BTW BJonas, my 11 year old daughter says your spelling is correct.

She must know what she's talking about, as she just spell checked this post!

Reminds me of the night I was driving home on one of the more rural roads outside of Ocala. There was this cow running down the road, not confused acting or scared, just like he was out for a jog. It struck me as funny, but I still called the Sheriff's office because I had to let someone know.

No horse poop here in Mickeyland.....but we do have a neighborhood armadillo....which, I know, means nothing to anybody else but I think it's cool.
