Any ideas on these USAAF trousers?

I've been trying to work out what these trousers are, they don't look like regulation officers pinks or greens. Any information would be much appreciated!

Pilot backstory: At the outbreak of war John Trevor Godfrey enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He transferred to the 8th Air Force in August 1943 and earned fame as the wing man of Ace, Don Gentile. He completed his first tour of duty in April 1944, but soon returned to the European Theatre in August 1944 to lead the 336th Fighter Squadron.

Those were known as Chocolate Browns. They were a class A uniforms, hat, jacket, trousers, shirts, and tie. In the 90s I had a complete set.

Fantastic! Don't suppose you have any pictures?

I've seen tags with: "Trousers, Wool, Elastique, O.D. Dark, Officers"

Would this be this be the same as what is known as chocolate brown? Material colour looks different in every picture I come across. . .

Sadly, no photos of mine. I am not sure what the official designation was? I was hoping someone more knowledgeable then me would chime in!
