Another mystery garment

The FL experts seem to have keen eye maybe you could help identify the era and type of army coat this is. It's really heavy, and has those old army buttons. But that's all I really know. Thanks in advance:

I used to deal in army surplus and judging by the label alone I'd say American...any more than that I couldn't say

'50s era overcoat I believe, Enlisted. Used until at least Vietnam. Always can tell by the hue of OD Green.
