Alexander Leather Roadster in seal jerky horsehide size 40/42 like new

After a long internal debate, I have decided to sell my Alexander Leather Roadster. It’s in like new condition and has hardly been worn. I absolutely LOVE this jacket, but need something about 1.5” longer. Aero or AL trades considered! Plainsman anyone???

The jacket was ordered from AL about a year ago. It still smells like brand new leather and doesn’t have any marks, scuffs, imperfections, etc... The size is marked 42 but felt a little closer to 40 to me. It just depends on what kind of cut you prefer.

Measurements:

Pit to pit: 23 3/8"
Front from top of zipper to bottom of jacket: 21 1/4"
Sleeve: 27" (measured with rigid tape measure / AL measured it at 26")
Back: 25"
Shoulder to shoulder 18 3/4"

Measurements look like a classic 42 to me. Sleeves a bit long.. Are they measured around the curve of the elbow, or straight down the sleeve?

Bump as the winter season approaches. Gorgeous jacket that is essentially unworn. Just not the perfect fit for me as I like a longer fit.

How tall are you and waist size please. I’m a short stocky 42/44 with a 34” waist. Does it feel smaller in the chest then a 42 or elsewhere.
