Hi! I am new to the forum and considering this used Alexander Leather half belt jacket size 50. I am 180cm and 116 around the chest. Anyone here who has the same jacket? From searching the forum it looks like the company changed the name to "Simmons Bilt" Experience?

There are differing opinions here on how a jacket should fit. Some refer to a comfortably fitting jacket as being a perfect fit for casual wear and there's another end of the spectrum that believes that something closer to the fit of a sausage casing is better.

I lean closer to the casual fit but the fit of the jacket you're wearing in the pic is beyond casual and too big for your frame. You might be better off looking at a 46 or a 48.

If that is you on the pictures, I would agree it is not a very flattering fit, arguably too big.

Alexander Leathers/Simmons Bilt make a product that will last for life. Same as with any maker, you have to find a pattern that works for you and figure out the right size.

Nah, the model is the guy selling it. I tried it on today and it was too big and roomy. But, a quality jacket for sure.
