The slight dip you put on the front of the crown instead of leaving it flat and that braided band with the cowboy knots really sets that hat apart in such a good way.

The felt is pretty soft without a lot of stiffener. The brim can be shaped with just a bit of pressure.

Yeah , NEW they come Open Crown , Wedgetail demolished the Woomera he had before that one . He likes the Bark Color .

Maybe , but I imagine it'll ship much sooner .

I think the factory has a schedule , but I believe that's just an estimate saying it will ship for sure by then or sooner . If you ask Sam he can give you more information .

That'll work. I guess I'll order one tomorrow if I can decide between the black and the sand. I'm leaning toward the black.

Where do you live ? If they ship to me in Po Dunk TN , I would think they ship anywhere .

Normally they ship through a Port of Entry like NYC , and then it goes to FedEx or UPS or USPS . Remember Australia is 15 hours ahead of us or there about .

I just dug out my Woomera Box , and it just says International Air Post : Registered mail , and I can't remember who delivered it . Probably USPS .

I think they handle all that through international mail/shipping , but who knows . Sam will know . South Texas still gets USPS Mail doesn't it ?

Of you order black it very well could be 4 months. They only run black about once a quarter so it depends on where they are when you place an order.

I went to Hats by the Hundreds and ordered the Sand color. It's $15 more than the other place but it's in stock and ships in a week. Also no shipping hassle.

They will send you a shipping notice with tracking. The amount of time lost in customs inspection varies. I've had them hang up in NYC customs anywhere from 2 days to a wk. This time of yr I would expect a wk, maybe more to get thru customs.

I had ordered a Sand Woomera last June during a sale and got the dreaded four month wait. When it finally arrived I was horrified when I realized how huge it was. I boxed it and... hid it from the wife.

A few months went by and I broke it out to give it another chance. A John T. Chance! It’s still a bit large, maybe need to be trimmed to 3.5”. But a woomera can make a pretty good John Wayne cavalry hat.
