This is a fantastic, truly unique cowboy hat. It’s one of Akubra’s oldest models, made from imperial quality, fine fur rabbit felt, and only available in the Australian market. It’s a true to size 58cm (US 7-1/4), and in like new condition


I ordered the hat new, directly from Australia. It came open crown and I shaped it the crown and brim myself. I also did the feather work myself with feathers I collected throughout my adventures over the last year. There is no other hat exactly like it in the world. I’m letting it go to make room in my collection, because it deserves a life outside instead of on a hat rack.


Please note, this hat has a tall crown (5” at its highest point) and wide brim (4” all the way around). It creates a distinctive silhouette and makes a statement.


Akubras are incredibly durable, can handle most weather conditions, and are comfortable to wear. Basically, this hat can take a beating.


The hat has been brushed, the sweatband and liner cleaned and sanitized, and it is ready to ship to its new owner, where I hope it will see many more adventures.
